|A Quick Post Before Bed About Knitting and Crocheting

It's cold and rainy tonight. I was going to go to Michael's to buy yarn for the Special Olympics Scarf tutorials, but my windshield wipers don't work, so to be on the safe side, I didn't go.
The scarves have to be made from Redheart in the colors blue and turqua. They should be six inches wide and six feet long. Within those parameters I'll design three scarves, one for the knitting loom, one that is knitted on needles, and one that is crocheted. It's a big project and my editors just asked me and wanted them immediately. I told them there was no way, not this close to Christmas, not when I already have too many projects and far too little time. The best I could promise them was after Christmas and before the New Year, and maybe not even until after New Year. This is crunch time for artists. I have five Etsy shops to keep full, plus gifts I've already started for family and friends. I can't just drop everything because the editors want more and more from me. I'm not a machine.
