This has been a busy art day. Lots of blogging. Added new items to http://www.hypnotic.etsy.com. Took a custom order to the post office this morning. I'm sitting in an Etsy chatroom all alone http://www.etsy.com/chat.php?room_id=Gypsy_Camp because the other rooms were full.

I've been twittering and plurking. My craft name on both of those is craftinator. But crafts are not everything right? So I also have a twitter name for poetry which is redquill and I have others too. I'm prolific, what can I say? I'm becoming a problogger I guess. I'm making more from blogging than from art! Bizarre I know.

Still plugging away at the hypnosis thing too. If I had 20 paid sessions a month, I could call hypnosis my only career. I'd like that. Yes, I would.

I was writing a novel in the fantasy genre a while back and I named one of my characters Pigglewiggins. It's not a first and last name like Piggle Wiggins, but one long name like Rumplestiltskin. As time passed I kept the name and added it to as my website domain name at http://www.Pigglewiggins.com and then it became my Etsy store name at http://www.pigglewiggins.etsy.com. And I hadn't planned it that way, but it also became my Etsy chatroom name, which means I get called Pig and Piggy a lot. I didn't see that coming.

Then my sister got married and now her last name is actually Wiggins. Strange bit of synchronicity that!

Today someone said the name sounded like a character out of Harry Potter. I was rather flattered at that. I would really like to find that book I was writing and finish it. Or TM the name or something. But it seems a little silly to spend the money to trademark a name when I can't even afford health insurance.

think I'm going to make it a habit to update all my blogs on Monday. That way I won't miss any in my random way of posting here, there and everywhere. So far today I've done five pages of calligraphy practice and posted an article with photos on it.

My google adsense was way down on Sunday. Maybe everyone went to the beach for the weekend.

Right now the 'blow-n-go' guys are out front, so it's hard to think. I miss the old days when gardening meant a rotary mower and a pair of hand grass clippers. People don't realize the toll noise pollution takes on us. I'd rather have the weeds and long grass than the noise, but I don't get a say in it since I don't own the apartment structure.

Sat. I did beadwork and Sun. I did knitting so typing is a bit painful.

Yesterday we went out to Todai for sushi. I found out I like green tea cheesecake. Who knew? I saved the scallop shells for my wind chimes. Or a mobile. I haven't decided which one I want to make yet.

I finished two paintings today. I put one of them in my etsy shop this morning. I also listed an older painting as well. One painting is of a faun and the other one is a clown. And the one I finished but didn't list yet is a still life with brass goblets and a striped blanket.
I'm trying some mini-canvases because so many people tell me they can't afford a big painting. I don't really believe art should be priced by the inch like carpeting, but I do hope to make my art more affordable so I can increase my sales.

I have craft classes offered at Michael's 10 days this month, from 1 to 3 PM, hoping to catch the lunchtime crowd. Someone said I should look into teaching at adult school's instead.
I applied to be a CHACHA.com guide a while back, but couldn't get my DSL issues worked out on my computer. So now CHACHA (which is a search engine) has a new application, so I have to relearn to use the new one if I ever hope to make money as a guide.
I'm still slogging away on mylot: http://www.mylot.com/?ref=auburndreams . I need to post some more to that blog to make the payout minimum this month. I try to make the $10.00 minimum every month, but my first month I missed it by .13. This time I'm about $1.50 away from the minimum so I should be posting a bunch today.
I'm also in the Literotica survivor contest, and I haven't written anything for it yet. I guess I just haven't been in a kinky mood.
I have a bunch of new photos to post to Flickr that I took at the Garden Grove Farmer's Market last Sunday, so I guess I'll do that next.
